Day 6: Art Installations & Dance

The older kids started the day with art installations and followed it up with dance in the second half of the day, while the little ones spent the day concentrating on dance and games.

Day 5: Clay Artists & Set Designers

Today we started with clay modelling for the little ones. The kids loved playing with clay and came up with some beautiful characters.

The elder ones were given a session on Set Designing which they thoroughly enjoyed

Day 4: Glass as Canvas

Today we started with Glass Painting which has been a regular fixture at Srujan, since its inception.
Although, we don't give them actual glass to work on, the kids learn the foundation of glass painting through practicing on OHP sheets but the effect is no less remarkable.

At the end of the day, the students were entertained by BeatRoute's very own Band. The kids enjoyed humming to classics like Dooba dooba rehta hoon.., Paani Da Rang... and also a few english and folk songs.

Day 3: Advertise your way forward..

Today the srujanites were given a brief exposure to the advertising and marketing world. The kids were asked to come up with any abstract product they could think of and think of ways they could use to advertise/market their product.
They spent half the day making models of their abstract products and exploring different ways to market them.

In the other half, they continued perfecting their dance moves.

Day 2: Blending in...

So after getting to know each other and giving their teams some whacky names, it was time for each team to come up with a logo each. The instructors spent time with the students explaining them what a logo is and what is its importance. The kids went about creating some beautiful logos to go with their team names and tag lines.

In the second half we started with various dance forms for different groups. The kids started practicing contemporary, hip hop, salsa and bollywood styles of dancing
